공부를 하는 과정에는 여러가지 행동들이 포함되어 있습니다. 단순히 책을 읽을수도 있고, 모르는 단어를 검색할 수도 있고, 진도를 따라잡을 수도 있고, 어려운 개념을 이해하기 위해 노력할 수도 있죠. '공부를 하다'를 영어로 표현할 때 study만 주구장창 사용하고 있었다면, 다른 표현도 한 번 사용해봅시다. 굉장히 자주 쓰이는 표현들이에요.

공부 관련 영어 표현 모음

1. Look up 찾아보다, 검색하다

A: "What does 'ephemeral' mean?"

B: "I'm not sure. Let's look it up in the dictionary."

2. Figure out 이해하다

A: "I can't figure out how to assemble this furniture.

B: "Have you checked the instructions? We can figure it out together."

3. Go over 되풀이하다, 다시 살펴보다

A: "Did you understand the instructions?"

B: "Not really. Can we go over them one more time?"

4. Catch up on 따라잡다

A: "I missed the last two classes. Can you help me catch up on the material?"

5. Brush up on 기초를 되짚다
